That sounds pretty cool to me! Where on earth would you get something like that? Special order? A performance shop? Online? How much does a kit like that run? This is going to sound silly. How do you guys convert your single exhausts to dual? I read something about a conversion kit, but didn't understand the lingo. Do you have to put a new muffler on when you do that? What's the one that kind of makes the car "growl"? Lisa

the NOS was $720, but the price should be coming down soon. it was a new kit when i bought it. BUT, i'm not sure if they have one for the v-6 yet... call and ask: 714-546-0592, i think. if that doesn't work: 1-800-230-3030 and ask for the NOS tech number. DO NOT ASK SUMMIT IF THEY HAVE THE PART cause they will probably give you bad info *L* as for dual exhaust i can get you part numbers and the phone number from a catalog i have. it's mustang only and has a grip of v-6 stuff!! 'most i've seen so far.. or, you can go

Thanks for the info! I honestly don't think I'm up to the NOS system just yet. I'm definitely considering the dual exhaust conversion kit, as well as that air filter to improve mileage, etc. What exactly do the lowering springs do? Lisa

i'm not sure if anyone has answered you yet, but when i lowered my car it made it handle a bit better and have a bit less body roll. it's not neccessary, however (it's probably the only thing i've done to my car just for looks) and will make the ride a bit more rough. if you REALLY want it to handle better, you can buy new struts/shocks to go with the springs that would make the world of difference. also, you may want to buy a set of camber adjusters 'cause when you lower it, the front wheels tend to get a bit in them. have you seen the rear of a bmw or old vw when they are lowered? did you notice how the bottom of the wheel stuck out further than the top? that would be positive camber. since we're not road racers, we probably don't want that :) hope that helps! kaj
