My 95 Windstar sprung a major leak that is squirting from the lower drivers side of the radiator. Of course the fan spews it all over. The hoses are good and not the source from what I can see. But since the fan spews the leak all over its hard to pinpoint the exact location. It appears to be spurting out from behind the fan. There is no leak when not running. Anyone have this come up?

Have your cooling system pressure tested. They basically pump your system full of air to pressurize it with the engine off. Then you look for the leak. Since you've already decided it's not the hoses I'll bet it's the radiator. Remove it, take it to a radiator shop and have them fix it for about $25-50. Make sure you install new coolant and it wouldn't be a bad idea to replace the 9 year old hoses and clamps too.

Have it cleaned as well while its out to remove any accumulated deposits. Could prevent overheating in the future.
