hey dude, i know exactly where ur comin from, i just rewired my probe. lotta work, but it paid off. well, if you go to the nearest "Good Guys" or "Car Toys" or Radio shack (same type of places) they should have an adapter for the kind of cd player you bought, it'll run u around $15. , u have to remember that when you hook up your car to the deck, for the speakers, u have to hook them up to the amp remote wire. you should get a pretty good sound, but the only problem that you will have, is the problem with the pre-amplified stereo. what will happen, is the music will be TWICE AS LOUD. so u probaly wont be able to turn ur volume up past 7-8 without your ears ringing. i got tired of the loud sound, so i just went ahead and ran wires from the deck itself. either way, have fun, and good luck

I am an installer for Circuit City. The harness that you need is the MET 70-1770. If your Probe is amplified you'll need the MET 70-5511. Take the radio out and take the radio in with you. They'll get you the right harness. Good luck!!!!!!!!! Fordprobeman@... Wappingers Falls N.Y.
