MTX makes a perfect box for that. Before I put 4 12's in my bed, I had the 2000 ranger thunderform with one 10" and it sounded really sweet. I'm gonna check on a price for you to see how cheap I can get that box for, but the link is http://www.mtxaudio.com/caraudio/rang93-7.cfm
Hope this helps,
Jonnie

How did you put the speakers in the bed of your truck? Also is it possible to fit a 12' instead of a 10'in the cab? and could i actually put a 10' behind each seat?

Well, there are 2 styles of bed boxes. Bandpass, which is actually a box full of subs in your bed with a port running through to the cab. Usually, the port is no bigger then 6"x15". The other style, which I have, is they put the box all the way in, or almost, and you have access to the subs. With mine, they cut the front of the bed the size of the box, but the cut inside isn't quite as big. I don't know how the older rangers are made but I have a carpet back wall and two grey vinyl style pieces on each side. They cut the carpet wall out. The cut on the inside is like 4ft x 1.5ft or something. They rhynoline the box inside and out(the spray bedliner), and then have a water tight rubber booting around the box. It is $10/ft. Mine looks awesome and very professional. Check out pics on my site. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Jonnie
http://www.webheads-inc.com/jonnie -Truck Section

To answer your other question, (: I almost forgot that the shop that did my stereo actually had a 12" sub box made for your year ranger but it wouldn't fit in mine. If you want, I can call Monday and see if they still have it. If they do, I could give you the price and they or I could ship it to you if you wanted it. I remember it had redish color carpet but you could redo the carpet any color, or do vinyl. I have a ton of vinyl if you wanted. We get our stuff at wholesale anyway so they would give me a hell of a deal on it. Let me know what you think.
If they don't have it I have friends that build custom boxes anyway. For pics of our work check out are car audio page at http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/audioextreme . But, if you do go with the 10", they're made to fit prefect with no loss of leg room. When I had mine I didn't have to move my seat, but I'm a little short! Got any pics of your truck? I love seeing other peoples' trucks.
Jonnie

I am definitely interested in the box.....i would greatly appreciate your help. I think i want to throw 2--12's so that it pounds. I am going to put some pics up soon right now the colour is metallic red (burgundy)but next month i am changing it to electric blue. Let me know about the price for that box. Thanks

I called the place today and apparently they sold the box. They do have a bed box in stock, like mine, but made for 8, 8in subwoofers. I am not sure if that would even fit in you bed but it would sound great. If you wanted that for some reason I can get the subs for cost or pretty close, and see what they'd do. Let me know,
Jonnie
