Gary:
Yeah I was sorry too. Have used Raybestos pads as replacements for
years and have always been satisfied with them. I'm around 73,400
miles now.
Was hoping to be out of Vegas by now, but obviously that hasn't
happened. We've pretty much missed all the colour back home that
comes with spring. And of course I've missed most of the real good
fishing. Just not too many places around here to fish, unless you
want to try for some "Sandmouth Bass" LOL. Lake Meade is about an
hour away, but it's a lake you have to have a boat for, and of course
mine is back in Mississippi. Actually it's been so long since I have
had it in the water will probably need to put it in the shop and have
the engine gone over before I take it out again.
Was talking with a guy back home last week. He told me that Lake
Bouge Homa, about 10 miles from our house, has had two 12 pound and
one 14 pound Largemouth taken out of it this spring. My personal
largest caught there was a 6, but I know it's got some "Monster Bass"
(Roland)in it. It's a boat killer lake though, full of Cypress Trees
and stumps. Totally destroyed a trolling motor on it about three
years ago.
Oh well, gotta work, and things are pretty slow here in the States.
Still working, so that's good. Most of the highway projects have been
put on hold for awhile. Guess the project we were suppose to do in
Tuscaloosa may get put back online later this summer, or early fall.
Looks like we're gonna miss the Aliner (camper) Rally in North
Carolina come May. That's got me ticked off, as I spent hours and
hours finding the site and putting most of the Rally together. Would
have to have a minimum of two weeks to get there and back from Vegas,
and that's just not possible right now. Bummer for sure.
Back to Escapin'. Mine has been from South Carolina to Denver, then
back to Mississippi and from Florida to Plattsburg, NY, just south of
the Canadian Bordor. From Maine to Los Angeles. From 33feet below
sea level to 14,166feet above sea level. Not sure, haven't counted
the States recently, but have covered most of them between Maine and
California. It's been a GOOD RIDE.
Oh Well, that's it for now.
