I took my truck to a local friend who has a hoist, we were looking into what sounded like a brake dragging on the rotor. We ended up finding that the bearing on the hub was trashed and before we even touched the lug nuts you could wiggle the tire/rotor/hub assembly. We got all of this off of the truck and while we were working we noticed that the spring was busted on 1 coil near the top and at the seat of that same spring. We checked the other and saw it was broken at the bottom too. Anyone seen this before? Our truck has roughly 80,500 miles on it and we bought it around 77,500 I was told there was a recall for this but in searching I've not found anything.
