I own a 1998 Mercury Mystique (~77,000 miles) and I've recently experienced an intermittent problem with my rear turn signals. Once in a while I will get a very rapid flashing of my turn signals indicating that a bulb is out somewhere in the flashing circuit - this is normal operation. When I check the bulbs, I always find one of the rear turn signals out, either the left or right. When I pull the bulbs from the housing they are not blown. After a while they will begin working normally again. This problem is almost impossible to replicate for the dealer since it seems to occur almost randomly. If anyone else has experienced this (or anything similar) I'd like to hear how it was solved. Thanks!
