I have a 1966 Mustang with a 289 and power steering. The pump is leaking and I would like to rebuild it. Does anyone know of (1) instructions - with pictures - on how this is done, and (2) where to find the kit of parts, and (3) where/what tools are needed. Thanks Fred

Personally..it's probably not worth the hassle to rebuild the pump as it has been my experience that rebuilding just about anything will result in another rebuild much sooner than normal. Try to find/buy a remanufactured one from Autozone or Advance Auto, preferably one with a good warranty. (lifetime??) If you decide to go the DIY route then I would bet that NAPA would have what you need as they always seem to have products that the other two don't carry. Try www.napa.com for your kit.
