I have reached the painful (and I do mean painful...) conclusion that I am not going to be able to keep my Mustang "original". I have now had to re-assemble the clutch on three separate occasions. This won't do. It is spending more time in my garage "pulled apart" than I am in the front seat driving it (not a good thing at all-- gggrrrr). I read in the Mustang Monthly, Oct 2001, an article about installing a hydraulic clutch system for Mustangs (I believe it is later models-- 80s to present). I am wondering if any one on these lists have done such a conversion, and what is the opinion of those who drive the hydraulic clutch. Also, I want to know of other alternatives to the standard "rocker" clutch assembly. John Gammon 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe White exterior (believe was once Caspian Blue) with... Blue interior and trim

I too am interested. I have also re-assembled mine several times, mainly due to the later model roller motor without the pivot hole on the block and T5 tranny. I finally reconciled myself to living with a clutch that just never felt quite right...
