i just got a 51 ford f1 and it has flat head 6 and 3 on tree and i want to find some resourses so i can run numbers on it to see if original. as a newbie to f1 scene im starving for info on my classic ford!i have been working on mustangs most my life but am lost on flatheads and want to keep the flathead in it.any info on links or if you can help me identify my motor and firing order and so on plz email me it would be a big help. also i would like to identify rear end also to see if numbers match. my truck was 50 percent restored before i got it so i would really like to know what i got going on. thanx....phil

Hello, I don't really have a lot of resources for part numbers, But what I can suggest is go thru your search engine and type in your year truck. You should be able to retreive alot of info that way. Here is a web site I have thru a catalog I recieved, They cover Ford trucks 1948-1972. The web site is www.lmctruck.com. Here is an 800 number, might be handy, 1-800-222-5664, call them and they probably can refer you to some one or some thing that has part numbers.
