Hello, I was wandering where everyone else hits the rev limiter because mine kicks in at exactly the red line. I just don't understand why it goes to 8000 if the rev limiter kicks in so early. I think my problem has to do with the exhaust because I took off my muffler and it worked fine until the computer was reset due to a dead battery. The rev limiter then kicked in around 5000. ALl I did to fix this problem was put the muffler back on. Can anyone explain? Thanks, Charlie- '93 base- lots of mods.

the limiter on mine is set at 6500 RPM you can adjust it by purchasing a rev limiter though.
