Got it all out and partially back together. The pinion was missing half its teeth. The pinion yoke didnt want to come off so I had to beat the death out of the wasted pinion. The yoke fits the new one real nice.Dont know why the pinion seal wasnt leaking,as the rubber was completely off the steel and just bobbling around.Amazing how thick the steel is on the front cover! Its like frame material! Those cheapy chrome cover nowadays cant measure up to this vintage cover. The gear was original (obviously),as it was dated Dec 1967.
