Hey Everyone, I wonder if anyone knows a good trick for figuring out whether I have a roller cam or not? I have a 1995 XLT Bronco with a 5.8 L SEFI engine. (yea I know, should have held out for a 96 with mass air, hindsight is a wonderful thing!) I find this engine to be a dog in OD on the highway and plan to open up the exhaust and go to a computer minded roller cam. However, if it is a conversion cam, it's going to cost about $500.00 more to convert. I would probably find a 96 parts vehicle instead, if I have a flat tappet cam. I would like to know what I'm facing before yanking the valve covers as it looks at a glance to be complicated by the intake runners. Anyone got a clever idea for me?
