HEY HOWS EVERYBODY? WELL IM JUST GETTING READY FOR SPRING TROUT FISHING AND I WANTED TO KNOW IF ANY BODY HAS PUT ROOF RACKS ON THERE BRONCO ? IF THE ROOF IS STRONG ENOUGH TO HOLD A 12FT ALM. BOAT, ANY SUGESTIONS? THANKS TINBANGER19

Hey TINBANGER19, I have a Yakima on my '91 XLT.I use it to carry my 8-12'long surf rods.It attaches inside the door opening.I made an extension off the back cross member since I put a soft-top on for the summer.But I do know guys who mount 1 on the roof and 1 further back on the hard- top,about a foot from the end.Be leary of the ones that pinch onto your rain gutter.If you span the full width of the hard-top(mounting on the curved section,not the flat top) you SHOULD be ok.Check out Yakima,Thule and any Leer distributer.
