Hi all. I wanted to get the experience of any of you that run your
4wd at highway speeds. Our explorer manual said not to, and I know
most older 4wds shouldn't be run at highway speeds.
The truck I'm looking at is a 98' extended cab 4wd w a 4.0 or a 3.0
(hopefully the 4.0)
Also, how stable are these on the highway in the rain?
You see, I drive 100 miles a day, and I currently have a fwd pontiac,
and it likes to hydroplane from time to time. Not the best tires but
they are brand new.
I'm really looking for a little older splash ex-cab 4wd, but they are
very hard to find.
