I recently got my rusty '86 Bronco to run. I wanted to know if anyone else out there has had to do major rust repair. I'm talking the whole deal, fenders, inner fenders, doors, quarter panels and tailgate. Thats what mine would require for a paint job. Since I only paid $500 for the Bronco, I might consider this. Any opinions?

Hey, for only $500 and a little more for body panels, that's still not a bad price to pay for a good looking Bronco. You can check the junkyards or get used parts- try www.lmctruck.com. or you could go with newer looking panels like was suggested-you can get fiberglass cut-out fenders that have alot bigger tire openings than stock-I'll find the site for you if you're interested.
Jason

That POR15 sure isn't cheap, but it would do wonders on my Bronco. As anyone used it?

Yes I have used it in the past and it is great, but can be only used on rust that has not gotten that bad yet.You would still have to do some kind of bocy work to the severe rust.
I always wanted to prime a vechile in por15..lolol
I think there maybe other products simular out now that does bascially the same thing as por15 although i have never tried them.
