I found a site that had Westin Safari Light Bars in both Black and Chrome with the order numbers and price and mount kit for the Escape.

http://www.autostyles.com/westinsafarilightbar.htm#FORD

Au\ tostyles also had other accessories. One big problem is that they do not ship outside of the U.S. so you have to ship it to someone in the States and have it forwarded to you. The good news is that there is a part number and price for the black safari bar.

On the Safari Light bar you can put on two lights. I know nothing about what light to buy. Can anyone offer me any information on what I should chose?

Gary

Gary do you have yours ordered yet? This is just what I've been looking for and not to expensive either. Thanks for the info. As far as lites go I don't have any idea, but thought if you get the most expensive than you will have the best. You could then let us know if they were worth the money. It also looks like they should greatly increase the value of your Escape.
Actually I couldn't believe how much you can spend on 2 lites.

I haven't ordered it yet. I have to find a automotive store here that carries them or a U.S. store that will ship them here. I like the look and they are relatively inexpensive.

As far as the lights go, I'm going to talk to the Ford parts guys for some insight as well as what I can learn from the local automotive stores. Whatever insight I get from posters will help as well. The Escape already has pretty good lights, so I don't have to get super dooper ones.

Gary

Hi Gary - when I get my light bar, I'll definitely be putting on the KC Hilites that are also on that site you posted (thanks BTW - good price, too bad they don't ship to CDN). I always wanted lights with a yellow smiley face cover. They are available at Canadian Tire (can't remember how much they were in the catalogue, but I don't think they were too expensive).

Anne-Marie
