I was short on time and my baby was dirty so I had to run it through a touch-free car wash. Ever since that fateful day my driver side window screeeeches when I put it up. Not down, only up. Has any one had this problem and resolved it? I mean, short of dumping liquid soap into the door. Any advice would be appreciated! It's really embarrasing when you pull up looking smooth in your probe and some girl covers her ears cuz your $%^#@^% window screeches. Thanks, Robert

that happened to me last summer...what i did, which i definately don't suggest to you, is put WD-40 on it...the sound went away, but then there was a huge oil streak all over my windows...i had to clean it 20 times with eagles 20/20 window cleaner for all of it to go away...but if you desperately want it out then i guess you could do this...and if you do then you might as well do both sides ralph 96 PSE

My driver's side window was doing it for a short while, but it went away. I can't remember what started it now. But ralph's method should work, although I would suggest silicone spray instead of WD-40. On Tue, 9 May 2000 14:07:24 EDT
