Is the SE badge really that easy to take off you your car? I don't know about other Probes but on my '93 PSE the SE badges on the side cladding and the one next to the tail light were put on before the car was clearcoated. I wanted to take them off before but I thought it would just make a big mess of the surrounding paint. -Lino Sacman >Perhaps the badge was taken off for some reason..............?? >Maybe the car had a little fender bender & the new pieces did'nt have >the badge...?? >Sometimes people pull the stickers off so the insurance guys will think >it's a base model. > >It's really anybodys guess. > >I have a 1994 GT V6. Just put an HKS intake system on it yesterday. I have a 93' SE...at least I think it is but anyways..I have no SE badges. But I have power everything, moonroof, and 15in rims. So I don't know why I don't have any badges.

Hey Lino if you want to take off the decals its fairly easy and it won't make a mess either. If you can take a plastic razor or cedit card and scrap off the decal. Now here is the important part. Get a spray bottle and fill it with a solution of soap and water or glass cleaner and water. Make sure the solution is diluted with plenty of water. First soak the area with your solution and carefully begin to remove the decal. It should peel of clean.
