I'm thinking of installing a shift kit in my 95 Windstar to tighten up the shift points. After 11 years of service I figured it wouldn't hurt in rebuild the valve body. Does anyone know of a shift kit for this thing? The only reference I've found to one so far is the B&M 40264 from Drivewire: http://tinyurl.com/ewzd4 According to B&M's site the 40264 is listed for: 40264 - Ford, Lincoln, Mercury - '92-'95 AODE/4R70W http://tinyurl.com/ebjar However, the 95 Windstar has a AXODE-AX4S transmission. Does anyone know if this kit will work anyway or should I be looking for something else? Rad

Is 4R70W maybe the tag number on the trans body? The listing for my 96 cargo Aero with 3.0 is the same misleading info with the 40266 being listed as the 4R70W.
