I personally would buy either a PRD or B&M shifter. I am currently undecided myself. I have not heard any testimonies on the B&M unit, so I hate to be a ginnea pig especially at over $50 more. There are some details on the shifters at www.probenet.com under the transmission parts. Enjoy, Bryan Pendleton >

I have the B & M shifter... works very nice, was a considerably shorter throw, and also roughly an inch shorter in height. Install wasn't too bad... except for these darned little snap o-rings - I am having a difficult time figuring out where they go on the B&M. So, some final advice - make sure you take a little longer of a look at the stock configuration before tearing into it!!! Michael Patrick

How does it feel, in reference to the "notchiness". What this a 2.0L or 2.5L install? And were did you pick it up from? And how much? Thanks, Bryan Pendleton >

I got it from the guy that occasionally sends an email to the list - joe at (i think its now) ProTech Motorsports - formerly SP Motorsports. I think it cost around $140 + shipping. Build quality is very nice. As far as the feel - it has great precision, only once in about every 100 or so shifts do I have a hard time (which usually only seems to be with first gear, which I also had an occasional problem with the stock unit). If any of you guys pick up the B & M and install it - let me know where/how you fit in the small rings!!! Michael Patrick Assistant Buyer/Sales www.audiotronics.com oneaprobe@...
