ok, my 1996 tbird has a little trouble up<br>until&lt;br&gt;1500rpm, and up hills. It will go so far and then<br>it&lt;br&gt;starts to jerk instead of smooth exceleration I<br>have&lt;br&gt;treid new spark plugs(not wires) cleaned the<br>system&lt;br&gt;because the car sat before I got it so I changed<br>all&lt;br&gt;fluids. What could be the jerking. Also what could be<br>a&lt;br&gt;good all around muffler kit for my BIRD? Price<br>wise,&lt;br&gt;sound, and performance.?

Greetings,<br><br>I had the same problem with my '97 4.6. I too thought it was was ignition related. But it wasn't.<br><br>Believe it or not you need a transmission service. <br>I don't remember the technical mumbo-jumbo, but following a dealer service the problem went away.
