I was going to tackle the sleepy eye mod this week and i was just wondering
if anyone knew exactly which fuse i need to pull to do this.. i have a 95
2.0l probe and i had planned on doing it.. also is there someone who
manufactures the mod? i was just going to do it by takin out the OEM retra
fuse and wiring on a temp. on switch from there.. is that the best way to do
it?

all you have to do is take out the fuse to the headlight motors, go into the
engine bay and turn the manual headlight lifters till there about half way
up. then just adjust the beams. i think you loose a little light, thats why i
never did the mod (ive hit 5 deer in the past 5 years as it is) and yes i
think someone does make an aftermarket install for this

the fuse your looking for is the retra fuse for retract. it's in the engine compartment. if i remember right it's the third one over from the right side of the car in the center row. but i may be wrong. hope this helps. remember RETRA. =-) good luck fellow prober chris taylor
