I have a 94 GT that is stock except for a K&N air filter and a 96 Cobra hood. My problem is that my car seems like it is slower than it should be. I go street racing on the weekends and I have been beaten by a V6 Camaro and a Saturn. I don't have a lot of money to spend on my car but I would love for it to be faster. Any suggestions?

First thing I would do is put a set of 3.73 or 4.10 in the rearend. That will make your car faster out of the hole and make it seem like you got a big horsepower boost. That is a fairly cheap upgrade. Look to spend around 170-180 on the gears and about 100 to have them installed. Ebay is a good place to look for used gears. Another more costly way to go is with the NOS system. It offers the most bang for the buck. Look to spend about 600 for up to 200 more horses.
