I am looking to purchase a 1987-1996 Bronco and had some questions that I am sure some of you can answer: 1) Did all the 351 engines have fuel injection for the years I am looking at? 2) Was there any gearing other than 3.55's available with the 351 in these years? If so, what were they? What was the GCWR? 3) What transfer case is in these Bronco's? (I would like to look into putting a lower low-range in, like 4:1 - so any information on who does this is helpful. Cost for those under-drive units is prohibitive and many can't mount between the tranny and xfer case so they can't be used in 4wd - worthless in my case.) 4) Did all 87-96 Broncos have the front locking differential available? 5) Any recomendations on a weight-equalizer hitch that doesn't hang down below the rear bumper, if possible? (Either that or I can put some kind of 'wheels' on the existing one so I don't drag my tail. I would raise it, but I need a low center of gravity.) 6) Any areas of problems that I should specifically look at on used units? Thanks in advance! Boothill42

Boothill, I have an '89 w/351 that has fuel injection. I don't know what year they started. Another thing to consider if you plan on taking the top off. I believe in '91 they started attaching the rear shoulder harness to the cap. It makes it a little more difficult to remove te top and unsafe for any rear passengers. fdecu

Boothill, Another thing I forgot to mention in my other reply. I have an automatic 3-speed (C6)in mine and the horsepower is 225. One thing I am looking for is an aftermarket overdrive so I can get over 10mpg on the street. I know Gear Vendors makes one. I was wondering if there are any others. FDECU
