Hey I have a quick question for all of you... When I went to pick up my car and do all the paperwork they tried to sell me (for about $300) this underbody treatment that was supposed to both protect from rust and also "decrease highway noise by up to 35%". Did anybody here have this done, and if so what were the results in terms of noise reduction?

Thanks!

Ben

YES! DO IT!!!!

Seriously get a couple of more estimates from other accessories in town first though. 300 is a little high for a small car.

As far as the claim of 35%, I would say "up to" 100% if more people would buy it. Remember it is up to 35% not exactally 35%.

Its kinda like your mpg, the stickers say like 29 city and 36 highway. More or less depending on conditions. That same general statment also applies to the "up to 35%" the dealer told you. If you really want to decrease the road noise in the vechicle seal the doors and windows better to the vechicles, thats where most noise comes in.
