I just bought a 1989 Ranger (2.3 liter). I took out the radio yesterday to try and see why it wasn't working. Since that time the Speedometer and Odometer do not work at all. All of the other gauges and lights work on my instrument panel.

I checked behind the panel this morning and the cable seems to be plugged into the panel. Does anyone have any guesses on this?

Hey i am looking in my book and this is what i find!! You need to take your cluster assembly out
on the back of it there are connecters that just pop right back on inless you broke the clip!!
the book says there are two wiring connections one is on the left hand sid the other is right behind the speedometer. ok it also says there is a quick way to disconnect it so reach up behind it and re coonect it. if you want more information on it email me at cub_kodiak@... there is a hole section on this speedomter in question..
