Gary, You're right about the spoiler. I had my installed a couple of weeks ago. The body shop at the dealership where I purchased my Escape, painted and installed mine also. It seems to be one accessory that few people consider, but it definitely adds a nice touch. I don't believe that painting the splash guards should be a problem. When I have the paint mixed, it will have the same flex additive in it that is used on todays vinyl bumpers, etc. I will let you know how it turns out. > My favourite accessory is my spoiler.
