Dennis, the 2002 Sport Trac only has the V6 but my husband said he heard they were thinking of putting a V8 in it soon but he wasn't sure when. It'll still tow a lot more than the Escape but we didn't get the towing package so I'm no sure how much (a real help, aren't I). We did get the optional bed extender and the hard cover for the bed and it really gives a lot of flexibility. Gary, I don't think colour mattered as when I looked in the rear view all I saw was two huge eyes behind the wheel and a wife who was obviously yelling and waving her hands, then BAM! I got yet another call from his insurance rep today, this time at work and it REALLY got me mad. He said he was willing to offer me $50.00 more a day for "pain and suffering" if I would sign a release! What an insult! I asked him to come down and let me kick him in the crotch every day for 10 days and see if he thought $50.00 more was enough (that got a very long silence). Don't get me wrong, I'm not sueing (sp?) them or getting some quack to say I'm disabled so I can claim mega-bucks but if this pain doesn't go away then I feel they need to pay more than that! I even saved them money by going to a military emergency room so they don't even have to pay medical expenses! Sorry, didn't mean to vent, but golly gee whiz! Hubby has the sport trac today so I can't take any pictures of that but I'll go out later and take a few of the rear end (of the Escape Gary, the Escape) and see if i can remember how to post them.
