they are driving me &$*@^#+ mad and are very emabarrasing seeing as my car is on 10months old. What should I do? Thanks in advance.

This is covered under warranty. Ford is aware of the brakes and it is on file with them. If you take it back to your dealer and tell them you want it replaced under warranty they will do it. I got them to replace mine last time I took mine in for an oil change. It helped a lot but recently they've started to squeak a bit again.

Hey fellow Focus person, Squeaking rear brakes are NOT normal and your Dealer will replace them at no charge. Its a fairly common Focus prob and Ford knows it. Its not dangerous, just annoying as hell.

Well i can say they will not JUST replace them cuz you ask them too.. But i will try with another dealer to try.. they told me i already have the "new" shoes.. to which i said.. looks like the made a fine choice and i will be seeing them again soon... UGH

Hey there, You are right. First thing they will do is try to dress the shoes and drums. If it happens again, then they'll usually replace the shoes. I'm an Auto Tech and I know the drill. Good Luck
