when i go over slight bumps or big bumps a squeeking occurs. i thought it may be my struts or something to do with the shock or something, but i had that and my whole suspension checked and everything was perfect. i am wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what it could be. they said it could possibly be a belt. derek 93 Base many mods

Im thinkin its either from the rear hatch hinges or the latch. Im not certain because I usually try not to ride in the back of my car. It didnt before so I think my lube may have worn out. Also, when I shift from first to secont when its cold i get a squeak. Anyone know how to remedy this? Thanks

I don't mean to ruin your day but it may be your rack and pinion unit, which by the way, is not a cheap part for our vehicles...sorry

what year is your probe? mines a 96 and they put a third brake light at the top of the headliner in the back. it squeaks like crazy and drives me up the wall. if you are missing any clips in any of your moldings or have a cracked molding that will do it also. the squeaking comin when you shift could also be caused by body torque. i know mine doesn't do that anymore since i got strut tower bars. just my two cents. good luck. chris 96 se
