89 Ford F250 in-line 6
Having problems turning over. The battery (brand new) shows full charge, and the starter has been replaced. I noticed that after in has been running for a while the Positive battery cable gets very hot and the truck will not start until things "cool down"??

Any ideas?

Drives: 1987 Ford F250 XLT Custom 5.8L 351ci. Windsor reg cab 4x4
Location: pennsylvania, usa
try buying a new starter relay or check ur starter wire from relay for corrosion or nicks and check your battery cables sand them down at both ends at batt and relay then neg cable at batt and on the engine ground.
