I called my dealer today in regards to getting a price for a spoiler. I have loved the look of wellbeallright's spoiler from the first day that I have seen it.

My salesman said that he would try and get me a good price. Depending on the price, I may make this last addition to the outside of my Escape.

Gary

Gary: Wonder what the installation for the spoiler is like? Screw on, bolt on? I really like the looks too, and like I told "YA", I think the basic flat black would really look good on my "Bright Red".......keep us posted......

Any Chattin' set for the weekend????

Take care and have a good weekend.....Dennis

Tonight I will look back on the other site to see what wellbeallright posted many months ago, I can't recall whether it is bolt on, screw on, or possibly stick on.

If the price doesn't make me cry too much I will be getting the matching Toreador Red.

I will likely set up a scheduled chat Saturday night. I will post a time later tonight. First thing tonight I will be going to my Dad's 79th birthday party. As a gift we will be giving him a trip back to Nova Scotia, where his roots are. My brother and I will be going with him, so he can pass on first hand some of his "cove" stories.

Gary

Gary- I believe the spoiler offered by Ford requires 2 holes drilled for attachment, since it does jutt out a fair bit and will get buffeted by wind. GTS has a stick on type spoiler which is more like a lip overhanging the rear window (GTS Aerowing rear window deflector-$52.95 US for the Explorer at JC Whitney). It isn't specific for the Escape at this time, but I'm sure it will be available soon (may even be had from CT). I want to be able to load a canoe and need a spoiler closer to the body, while still providing rear window cleanliness.

Sounds like a nice trip you're giving your dad. My mom had her 70th yesterday, but I'm saving up for Escape parts so she got NADA (actually, I'll be taking her to see MammaMia sometime in the future - ABBA Rules!)

Anne-Marie
