Gary: I guess the Jury is still out on whether Mrs. Gary likes, or dislikes, the Gibson, eh'?????????? Anxious Observer Dennis

Mrs Gary drove the Escape for the first time today. To say that she didn't like it was an understatement. The Gibson exhaust has a droning sound between 50 and 70 kph (around 40 mph) which is the main speed that we drive around the city. It is annoying even for me as it is a bad loud sound. I am going to see what my options are but likely I will replace the Gibson muffler and see if I can keep the rest. I was worried all along about my decision to get it. I guess mid age crisis won over common sense. I read too many car magazines that promoted them. It was a mistake. The performance improvement was minimal which was disappointing. I might have the muffler changed out before Evan ever gets to hear it. Gary (one accessory too far)
