We have had a lot of snow (for us) here in Oregon lately and yesterday I got a flat tire. I drove on the tire at 10mph about 2 miles to a gas station last night. I have a 99 Ranger Extended Cab 4X4 V-6. The gas station mechanic was able to repair the tire but when I got the truck back today, it is stuck in 4 Low! Needless to say, this is a huge problem. I turn the knob and no matter what I turn it to, the light on the panel says 4 Low and you can clearly tell that it is in 4 Low as well. Any thoughts or ideas are very appreciated.

I ended up getting the problem fixed. When it was in 4 Low, I put it in Neutral, put my foot on the brake and switched it right out. I am now back in business :)
