Well, all I can really say is this just suks much A$$. I was wanting to replace my Exhaust system this year but not this soon. I had been noticing my exhaust had been gettin louder, just thought it was the flex pipe that was looking pretty raged at my last oil change. Looked under the car to make sure nothing was about to start dragging and saw the exhaust pipe hanging. So I reached under and tugged it a little bit to see where it was loose at. The whole thing between the flange weld mounting to the cat. and the one to the rear pipe just fell off in my hand. So now I guess till I can get it fixed I have a Super Ultra Flow Exhaust... WooHoo!!! God its so freakin loud!!!! And I see want you mean about loosing low end power, I have to lay into the gas a lot more now to just get started. My question is has anyone else had their exhaust just fell off like that so prematurely? I mean, my Probe is a '96 and I've had a lot of cars that used clamps verses the welded mounting flanges and they always lasted longer then 4 years. Picked up my new FlowMaster muffler yesterday from Summit Racing but the only pipe they had ready to go was in the Pace Setter Cat. Back kit. Any suggestions as to who to get the pipe though? Or would I have to have it custom made since I'm not going with at cat. back system? Think I'm only going to step up to 2" pipe. Any suggestion for tips? My FlowMaster will probably be plenty loud enough on its own so I'm guessing I won't need a resonator. It'll just be an "Oh Pretty" thing. Hey pal, well, I have a '94 SE and I have almost the same problem as you, my extension pipe coming off of my muffler came unwelded at the flange, therefore, I'm mufflerless right now. It actually doesn't sound all that damn bad to tell ya the truth. Alot of people think I'm running some kind of high-end performance exhaust. Nope, not me, not yet. But yeah, I just bought a Flow-Master muffler and I believe I'm gonna clamp it this time instead of re-weld it.
