Vortec S and Vortec T trim will fit with modifications. Rousch will fit with modifications... I've not looked into doing it yet, but I would assume they would be similar to the AED install. I have however seen both the Vortec and Rousch installed in the MN12 Chassis (Vortec in a Cougar, Rousch in a Bird) so I know it's possible.

as far as i know, any of the sc's that will fit a stang will fit a t- bird with little modifycation. something about the tb has to be changed for the most part. i looked into a paxton novi 2000, and i'm kinda sure it will fit.

You didnt say which vortech or paxton supercharger you had in mind I am going to assume it is th S Trim that a good street blower good for anywhere between 6-12 psi i would run it at 8psi Neither the paxton unless they upgraded something or the vortech are self lubricating you will have a line run from your oil pan to the charger.
Paxton is no longer owned by the Granetelli's who originally strted the company, and from what i have read and heard the quality and reliability of the paxton has hit an all time low. Vortech on the other hand basically rules the supercharger market, check out all the racers the are running vortechs or pro chargers there must be a reason.
anyway thats my 2 cents worth... hope it helps

Hopefully, you've addressed then necessary suspension and braking concerns first. I noticed that you never did reply to what several people advised you on your previous suspension questions.

Far too many kids try to create a horsepower monster and then discover that they cannot get it to stop or handle worth a tinkers damn. Over time..more than one innocent has gotten hurt in the process as well...

depends what kind you are talking about relly if you want Roots or Centrafugial. If i was going with the Centrafugial i would go with the Vortech S trim they have the best all around packaage and they also have the best service record. With a stock Gt your looking at probally mid to high 13 with jsut 8 pounds of booose just putting in on there with no tuning reallly but if you got a chip burned and got it running good i say you could go with 12 maybe. Then a Roots has a more of a instacharge it takes a little bit for the supsercharger to spool up while the roots gives you more of a insant power. Your looking at better times at first but more money and a little limited on mods to. I have a friend with a stock gt wiht just a supercharger and H pipe and exhaust and he averages around a 13.8. I have a another friend who jsut got the sallen blower for his 97 GT and he is running a 13.5. It all depends on the applicatrion your talking about. Personallly i perfer roots type blowers for my car since it is a daily driver and i really like the instaboost that it will give you . Just my opion jody Black96GT

I've got Mac long tubes, off road h-pipe, 2 chamber flowmasters, 3.73's, paxton fuel pressure regulator, K & N, 13* timing and already ran 13.80's on radials. I don't care if it is a roots or centrifugal but I want to be a vette killer. I understand roots have better low end and centrifugal have better mid range. Also, I have heard bad stories about powerdyne and Ken Belle and nothing but praise for vortech. Also I understand 93 octane is a must. Any other little things I should know about required mods? Thanks, Ray 95GTS

I've got a '95 Cobra with the following: Vortech S-Trim pushing 10#'s AFM power pipe JBA Headers Bassani X-Pipe 65mm T-Body Flowmaster 3 Chambers FMS 3.73 Gears Pro 5.0 Shifter Eibach Pro Springs Cobra 'R' Wheels I took it to the Dyno on Sunday and got 382.2 max HP and 394.8 max Torque. This is good, safe HP. Good A/F ratio, and no detonation. I've spanked quite a few unsuspecting Corvettes and F-Bodies...I like the fact that the Vortech doesn't boost until high RPM's. I already have a hard enough time hooking up...I haven't been to the track yet, but I can hit 60mph in 4.6 seconds...I'm guessing I can run in the 12's on street tires. But, who knows...
