Your welcome. Lance asked me how the reception was with the antenna fully retracted. (at it's shortest). There is no noticeable difference here in the city, with it up or down. I'm sure as you start to move away from the city, up is better.<br><br>Gary

Gary, Anne-Marie and Lance:<br><br>Be will to bet that you'll get good reception with the antenna down for a long long way. I'm 50 miles or so from the station I listen to and I have never put it up and the reception is great.<br><br>Dennis

I find the South Carolina stations a little fuzzy when I have the antenna down!<br><br>Gary<br><br>Stuck at the airport right now. My first flight was cancelled and the second is delayed.

Don't really think it's the antenna Gary, have the same problem here sometimes, actually quite often....found out it's the slug of bacci the DJ's have in their mouths. Tryin' to catch those drips makes em' kinda slurrrrrrr even more!!!!!!

The Walmart (hic!) antenna as seen in the Photos section. Unfortunately, mine has bit the dust, after being mauled by a nasty soft-cloth car wash (soft cloth - yeah right).It it not flexible, therefore broke when hit hard from the front.<br><br>Anne-Marie
