Sounds like I need to keep digging. May have something good? There is an Explorer emblem on the glove box. I will take some pictures some time and maybe they will help with identification. Thanks Ed K.

Ford always seems to reuse old names....or put trim level names on complete carlines.Look at Explorer (Bronco/F-series) now its an SUV.Ranger was an Edsel trim,then an F-series/Bronco trim (Ranger XLT)now its a mini pickup(82-),I am surprised that Expedition or Escape werent pickup trim packages.Whats Fords next SUV? Lariat?
