This is my first Ford, let alone Mustang, so I'm
still learning as I go, so don't feel stupid. The only
stupid question is the one left unasked.
RCO is a
parts distributor that is based in London if I'm not
mistaken. Get a copy of 5.0 Mustang magazine and check out
their advertisement to be sure. It's small, and runs
along the edge of the page vertically. Ask to talk with
Jack, at least I'm pretty sure that was the guy I was
talking to down there.
I'm located in Aurora, about 30
min north of Toronto.
The stock H-pipe in the
79-93 Mustang came with 4 catalytic convertors on it.
Why, I don't know. Maybe someone else in the club can
answer that one for you. I've got a call into a Ford
tech I know, but he's in some advanced
training/upgrading skills course until late in the day, and I work
nights. Maybe I'll have an answer tomorrow or the next
day. I'll ask about that recall as well.
Oh, yeah,
it's not quite in the area, it's in Milton, but the
place is called Mustang Parts Warehouse, the guy's name
is Mike. He's good to deal with, that's where I got
my strut tower brace and lots of advice. He's a drag
racing guy, so if you're looking for autocross or road
racing info, I'm not sure where to turn. J+P Performance
in Scarborough is where I have the bulk of my work
done. Joe and Paul are amazing with 5.0's. Again,
they're drag guys, but still know plenty, and they're
always willing to talk and answer questions. Joe won the
NMRA race championship last year by the by.
Anyway,
good luck, stay in touch, feel free to email me if you
like.

dark_horse89@...

Cheers!
