Anyone else out there have a ford (truck or bronco) powered by that engine? And if so "been a good vehicle"?? I really need to know please, thank you!

Unbelievably Rock Solid Motor !! You wont find a motor thats more reliable than the 300 six. Only 20 hp less than a 302 and tons of low end torque. You won't win any drag races in it, so don't even try, but you could haul a mountain with one if it'd fit in the truck :) I've owned a dozen trucks, a few had the 300/6, I probably should have kept the sixes. I held on the last one I bought, it's in my farm truck. 160,000 miles - No ticks, No knocks, No bottom end noise, No Smoke, No leaks, Uses No oil or anti-freeze between changes. It starts every day all year around. Like I said before, I might not be the first one to get there, but I always get there. I say Go For It !! J.
