But do you think the PSE tranny is compatable w/ the KLZE engine in both bolt pattern, power band match, and torque capacity?

That is reallly, really wierd because i know for a fact that my 94 base probe was doing 115 mph at somewhere around 5-6000 rpms. I have the stock 14" rims and no special tires so maybe i dont have the limiter??? hmmmmmm........ JIM 94 base probe

Final drive as well? I see your point, but whether or not the engine has hte power to pull it that high is also a factor. I'd be curious to see it happen, the have it timed via radar or a stopwatch. -Rick '93 Probe Base (4 cyl.) 109.1k miles (BAPOC - Bay Area Probe Owners Club) ClutchMasters Stage1, 15x7 Tri-spoke rims w/ 225/50-15 tires, KYB, Intrax, GReddy (sold), Full Custom for 4 cyl. HS Intake (sold), 600W of Pioneer/Sony/Kenwood sounds, K&N Drop-in Next: Replacing with '99 Mercury Cougar V6 (Autumn Orange?), Dodge Avenger (Paprika), or Dodge Neon ACR in the not too distant future http://www.primenet.com/~rickyj/probe just a start...
