can someone please post on why the key gets stuck in the ignition and what is the best way to fix this thank you

Bring it to the dealer and have the ignition cylinder replaced. That's a common problem and the lock has been updated.   See ya, Nick

can i buy the part and fix it myself, or does the dealer have to do it to code the key? thanks miguel

It has to be coded. If your dealer is real nice maybe they can build it for you.   See ya, Nick
