Almost any mustang engine part will fit a
thunderbird.

Intake manifold - Yes, but only the '99+
mustang will give an improvement and you need to install
'99+ heads in conjuction. The '96-'98 mustang intake
manifold and heads are exactly the same as on the T-bird.
If you decide to do the heads and intake, be aware
that the '99-'00 heads require some additional
modifications. The '01 heads are a direct swap.

Headers -
No, they won't clear the steering
column.

Heads - Yes, see above.

MAF - Yes, but you need
a chip programed with the transfer function. Don't
bother with the mustang MAF, get a Lightning MAF. You
will need to make an adapter, but all it really
requires is about $5 and a hardware store.

dry NOS
- it should work, the '96-'98 mustang 4.6 is
exactly the same as the '96-'97 T-bird 4.6. There might
be hood clearance issues, but I doubt it.

wheels - nope, the mustang has a 5x4.5" bolt circle and
the T-bird has 5x4.25" bolt circle. You can change to
mustang hubs though if you want to make them fit.

ram air system - yes, but it may require some minor
modifications

UD pulleys - Yes for the '96-'98 mustang pulleys,
not sure on the newer ones. If you are running a high
power stereo, then you may not want to install the
alternator pulley.

super/turbo charger - yes, but
most come as kits with model specific mounting
hardware. The mounting hardware should fit for the most
part, although some minor modifications will probably
be necessary.

Some other things you may want
to consider are your exhaust, torque converter, and
rearend gears.

Hope this helps,

Kenny
