Hi, I have a 1992 XLT 2WD 4.0 that seems to eat thermostats. I have replaced one every two years for four years (that's three thermostats- one when I first bought it). The failure mode is that it seems to always fail 'open', i.e. the engine never warms up in the winter, even here in Alabama. Anyone have similar experience? The truck is wonderful otherwise, except for the rear side window leak. Dave
