As investments go, Cars are not good, Unless it's an MB.
Now as for the Contour. Great cars, Fun to drive, good milage, Large trunk. I would get an Extended Warrenty just to be on the safe side. My wife picked ours out and drove it for 2 years, now I have driven it for another 2 years.

GERII/cone_tour

Thanks for your input. We picked the Contour becuase it was affordable and i am having our second child and we owned a mustang so we needed something a little more roomy. You have eased my mind on the purchase of this kind of car. Thanks, and i will consider the extended warranty!

Hello. In my opinion, if you haven't bought a car already, maybe you'd like the Toyota Cressida. It's just as roomy, more reliable, and the 2.8 litre inline six has proven to be a durable long lasting engine. This is only an opinion and the final choice of course is yours. The writer should have also told you that Ford has a tendency to abandon any car that wasn't a huge seller for them. i should know, I owned a discontinued Mercury and got rid of it as soon as i could. Good luck
