okay you people might not like me after i say this but it has to be said. i have a 93 base fully loaded. i love my probe, but i want to know why all of you guys are putting so many expensive performance parts on a 4-cyl car. yes it is a beautiful car, but not a very upgradeable one. even throwing a turbo on a probe doesnt make it faster than a dodge stealth R/T which is just as nice if not nicer. i mean all it is is a family car engine in a sporty looking chassis. So all i have to say about upgrades are cosmetic yes performance no!!!!!! russ

I actually beat a Stealth R/T Russell. It's only a 6. The non-turbo of course. And why should it matter to you what we're doing to our cars. Just a thought. Jordan 94 Base with lots and lots of "expensive performance parts"

i understand where you are coming from.. but we gotta have pride in what we have, ya just gotta do what makes ya happy, and building up an underpowered sporty car is what makes me happy, especially when i come up to the line against another probe that i know i can beat.

Why are you comparing apples to oranges? You're actually gonna compare a $8k-$15k Probe to a $35k-$45k Dodge Stealth/Mitsubishi 3000gt? For it's price range the Probe is a lot of "bang" for the buck. It's very nimble and quick...even in it's 4-cylinder versions. It's got superb handling ... and even more so refined than the "tail happy" Stealth/3000gt (in my opinion). Okay...if you still really want to catch that Stealth then take around $4k-$6k to replace the engine to a 170hp J-spec FSZE engine and turbocharge it. That still puts you well below the price tag of those Stealth's/3000gt. -Lino Sacman, SCPOC '93 Rio-Red PSE, 5-spd >okay you people might not like me after i say this but it has to be said. i >have a 93 base fully loaded. i love my probe, but i want to know why all of >you guys are putting so many expensive performance parts on a 4-cyl car. yes >it is a beautiful car, but not a very upgradeable one. even throwing a turbo >on a probe doesnt make it faster than a dodge stealth R/T which is just as >nice if not nicer. i mean all it is is a family car engine in a sporty >looking chassis.
