I have bought a new idle air control valve-motor. Put the thing on and started it up. Runs good. I'm still gonna replace the TPS though. I cleaned the idle air control valve and put it on and thats when things went wrong. I put the old one back on to see if it was the problem, and sure enough it started to idle high again. Figured while I was there, I will replace the TPS also. The car has over 170,000 miles on it. Lesson learned: do not clean the idle air control valve-motor. It is the thing on the throttle body next to the TPS. I was gonna clean the MAF but, I think I will leave it alone for now. Not sure if '94 and '95 birds have them. If you have a 302 like mine, I would really reccommend not messing with the idle air control valve-motor.
