List, My probe is well over 60,000 miles, and besides the timing belt/water pump combo which I've already had done, what else is supposed to be done at this time. Ford has a 60,000 mile service for this car that is $600 bucks! I only paid $300 to have my t-belt and water pump replaced - what is the other $300 for? Chris, Believe it or not, that was from a Ford Dealer! I had called several independent mechanic shops in my area comparing prices and decided to get a quote from the Ford Dealer, just for fun - and it was the least expensive! It would have only been $200 dollars to just change the belt, but I insisted they do the water pump at the same time. I was able to get them to charge for only 15 extra minutes of labor to do it (plus the cost a new pump of course). Patrick 'set@...'
