Hey all. I was just going though some ebay stuff and came across a few items like this timing kit (Item # 1857086436)saying that it will add 20 hp. I dont know about that. Its some type of resistor but I'm not sure if it would hurt the car any. Has anyone tried this and if so any problems. Thanx.

Depends on what you want to do. The best ECU for the focus Ztec is the Pectel T2 www.pectelusa.com . If all you want is to monitor performance then I would suggest AutoTap www.autotap.com.

Hey, all. The stand alone engine management system is from a company called pectel. It is detailed in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords October issue. it's also online at www.pectelusa.com By the way, any input from anyone on the best chip to buy? Jet, Superchips, Diablo?

aem makes a stand alone ems that is configurable via laptop. check out their website: http://www.aempower.com/ems.htm they have wiring harnesses to match oem wiring, as well as base configurations so you can drop it in and still run, just have to do the fine tuning...
